Constellations in the Science Lab

    Mrs. Riggins talked to us about how the stars stay in the same place in the sky. We are moving, so it looks like they move, but they don't! Then she talked about constellations are a group of stars in the sky that make a picture. Then she read Follow the Drinking Gourd and talked about how slaves in the underground railroad followed the big dipper to get to freedom.
     Then students could draw the big dipper or create their own constellation.
