Rocks, Water, and Soil

We explored and sorted rocks by properties in the science lab.

We looked at pond water and water from the sink under the microscope in the science lab.

We also looked at them with the hand lens and recorded what we saw.

We explored clean and dirty water and recorded what we saw. We also discussed the importance of clean drinking water.

We went on a soil walk around our school and then came back to the classroom and wrote about what we discovered.

We brainstormed uses for water and then categorized them.

We also wrote and illustrated ways we use water at home.
